Rumer Willis gets candid about life as Bruce Willis’ health deteriorates

Rumer Willis has recently opened up about how her father, Bruce Willis is doing as he battles dementia while also facing the massive chaos of the LA wildfire, which destroyed the whole city.

The legendary actor, known for his strength on screen, is now showing a different kind of resilience in real life.

The daughter of Hollywood icon Bruce and his ex-wife Demi Moore, shared that the family is focused on supporting each other as they face difficult times.

The 69-year-old actor, who was previously diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a condition that affects behavior and communication, is at the center of their efforts as the family is right now dealing with ongoing challenges, including LA wildfire.

While talking on UK TV show 'Loose Women', she shared: "He's doing great. I think, obviously as many people in California, the thing we're all kind of the most scared, dealing with is just fires and wanting to make sure everything is okay. Because my family, we're all so close, I think what's so beautiful is the way that we rally around each other, [it's] so lovely, because we really are a unit."

The House Bunny star explained that becoming a mother has boosted her confidence. She also expressed gratitude for how her parents, despite their separation.

She continued, "I feel like I am my most grounded, intuitive, connected self. What I am thinking about when it comes to my daughter, I noticed sometimes in other decisions in my life, I can be a little anxious or indecisive or not know what to do."

"I find if I really listen to myself when it's about her, I feel really grounded and quiet - and I'm able to make really definitive decisions that I feel really helped me with that confidence," Rumer added.
