Saif Ali Khan omits knife attack discussion in first public appearance

Saif Ali Khan has just attended his first ever public event after the horrendous knife attack.

A few days back, the Race actor was stabbed six times by a burglar at his Mumbai residence. He was escorted to a nearby hospital by wife Kareena Kapoor in an auto rickshaw.

The 54-year-old suffered multiple injuries on his neck, arm and back. After getting proper treatment at the hospital, Khan was discharged and spotted by media outside his home.

Earlier today, the father of two attended the promotional event for his upcoming film Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins. He was accompanied on stage with co-star Jaideep Ahlawat and producer Siddharth Anand.

Hum Tum actor appeared on the stage wearing a blue denim shirt and pants. He had a bandage on his neck and a black cast on his left hand.

While addressing at the event, Saif expressed his happiness to be present at the event. However, he did not utter a word on the recent horrible incident that occurred with him.

The Indian superstar added: "It feels very nice standing here in front of you. I am very excited about this movie. Siddharth and I have been talking about his film for a long time. I have always wanted to do a heist film. I couldn't have asked for a better co-star."
