Shahid Kapoor casually spoke about his past relationships, while stating that they made him lose his dignity.
The Chup Chup Ke actor, in a recent interview, talked about heartbreaks and also opened what he learnt from them.
According to Shahid, when you love someone and they reject you, you sacrifice all your dignity during the process without even releasing.
The Farzi actor stated: “Sometimes you love someone so much that when they reject you, you chase them to a degree that you start losing your dignity.”
He continued: “You sacrifice your dignity and you don’t even realize that you have lost your self-respect in the process, and that realization happens much later and you think, ‘What was I doing?’"
In conversation with Raj Shamani, the 43-year-old further revealed what heartbreaks taught him. He believes that one should never be needy of something from someone.
He added, “What I have learnt from love is that one should not be needy of something from the other person. That’s a very selfish reason to want to find love.”
Kapoor is of the opinion that one should always be able to give in a relationship rather than looking towards the other person.
Shahid, before marrying Mira Rajput, had a long term relationship with Kareena Kapoor which got quite public at the time.
