Monali Thakur asks media NOT to spread fake news about her health
Monali Thakur clear the air about her hospitalization rumours
Sawaar Loon singer Monali Thakur has released an official statement after reports about her being hospitalized surfaced on the internet.
Earlier today, a news was circulating on social media suggesting that the singer was taken to the hospital as she experienced difficulty in breathing while performing in Cooch Behar, West Bengal.
To clear the air, the 39-year-old Indian vocalist took it to her Instagram to share that she is absolutely fine and is not dealing with any breathing issues.
In her statement, Thakur requested the media not to spread any unverified news about her.
“Dear media and everyone concerned for my health, I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing this to request that no unverified news about my health be shared.”
The Cham Cham singer did mention though that she was feeling unwell as she did not get enough time to recover from severe viral infection.
“I was feeling unwell recently due to not getting enough time to recover from a viral infection/flu causing it to relapse and cause a slightly severe sinus and migraine discomfort and pain in flights. That’s all there is to it”, wrote Monali.
She concluded saying that she is back in Mumbai and getting the required treatment.
Thakur is one of the most prominent singers in Bollywood. She has received numerous awards including the National Film Award as Best Female Playback Singer for Moh Moh Ke Dhaage.
