Prince William, Princess Kate uninterested in Meghan's activities
The duchess's new account currently follows no other profiles
Princess Kate and Prince William's lives remain unaffected by Meghan Markle's activities, according to a leading royal commentator.
The Suits star recently surprised millions of royal fans by launching a new Instagram account under the handle @meghan on New Year's Day.
Speaking exclusively to GB News, Richard Fitzwilliams shared his thoughts on the Sussexes' latest move and discussed whether there is any possibility of the Prince and Princess of Wales following Meghan.
"The last thing that William and Kate are interested in just at this moment are the activities of the Sussexes," Fitzwilliams said.
"Following Meghan on Instagram may have been possible, but they're not in competition with the Sussexes."
The duchess's new account currently follows no other profiles and has not received a follow from the Waleses.
Fitzwilliams further emphasised that the Sussexes' activities have little impact on William and Kate's work.
