Wiggle Up, Giddy Up, the Wiggles' upcoming country album, will feature Dolly Parton as a guest star!
Parton will collaborate with other country musicians, including Orville Peck, Lainey Wilson, Jackson Dean, MacKenzie Porter, and Lucky Oceans, on the upcoming album, which is scheduled for release in March.
Austin (Boots Stop Workin') vocalist Dasha is featured on the title track of the next album.
In addition to Dasha, there will be performances by Morgan Evans, The Wolfe Brothers, and the late Slim Dusty from Australia and New Zealand.
The announcement follows the 78-year-old singer and actress's statement to Entertainment Tonight that she would "definitely pull way back" if her husband, Carl Dean, "were in ill health or needed her."
Parton is reportedly hoping to spend more time with her 82-year-old husband as she gets ready to tour in support of her new album, Dolly Parton & Family: Smoky Mountain DNA — Family, Faith & Fables.
One source said, per Radar Online, "She can't quit performing and feels she owes it to her fans."
"The fear is if Dolly doesn't slow down and start to delegate more responsibilities she'll burn out and no-one wants that,” noted the insider.
