Jay-Z’s absence from Beyoncé big day raises eyebrows

Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, who is known for attending major events especially those involving his business ventures, has sparked curiosity with his latest move.

Jay-Z’s conspicuous absence from the Beyonce’s halftime performance at the NFL game, flickered speculation online.

The rapper and mogul, who re-upped his deal with the NFL in October to manage its music entertainment, was nowhere to be seen, despite being expected at the event.

However, the 43-year-old performed a nine-minute medley of hits from her latest album, Cowboy Carter, reaffirming her status as one of the greatest artists of the 21st century.

Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter, Blue Ivy also made a cameo by dancing behind her mother, a familiar sight from TEXAS HOLD 'EM vocalist's recent Renaissance tour.

The mystery surrounding Jay-Z's absence may be linked to ongoing legal issues. 

The singer, who has the net worth of 2.5 billion USD, is currently fighting a lawsuit alleging that he raped a 13-year-old girl, which he vehemently denies.

In the face of the allegations, Jay-Z has made it clear that he is committed to protecting his family from any association with the case. 

Some speculate that his decision to stay out of the public eye during the Netflix broadcast may have been a strategic move to avoid further scrutiny.
