Shraddha Kapoor recently delivered an empowering message for women during an event in India.
As reported by Times Now, the 37-year-old Indian actress emphasised the significance of strong female characters while attending the 2024 India Economic Conclave, held on December 13, 2024.
During the event, the Aashiqui 2 actress opened up about her powerful lead role in her newly released horror-comedy film, she said, "Just the way, Dino also offered me Stree, I was like, You're offering me a film called Stree, you're offering me a character who's so strong."
Shraddha also expressed her excitement about being part of a film industry that showcases such characters, stating, "I feel like, the fact that you know, these characters, whether it's my character that I'm playing."
"They are strong characters for women to play, and it's such an exciting time that you get to play such a strong character who is active in the narrative of the film," the Ek villain star added.
Reportedly, Shraddha has recently achieved remarkable success with Stree 2, which not only captivated audiences but also shattered box office records.
On the professional front, Shraddha was last seen in a horror-comedy film Stree 2, which was released on August 15, 2024.
