Denzel Washington last featured in 'Gladiator II' with Pedro Pascal
Action star Denzel Washington, who broke the news about the upcoming Black Panther sequel a few days, have apologized to the makers for making the impromptu announcement like that.
Last month, the Gladiator II actor opened about his forthcoming projects he randomly confirmed the new entry of the Ryan Coogler’s franchise.
However, the production company and the director himself haven’t uttered a word about the new film. Denzel announced it before it was officially confirmed by the makers.
Therefore, the 69-year-old actor felt guilty of making this wrong gesture and shared that he specially called Ryan to apologize for making the mistake.
In conversation with Variety, Washington said: "Ryan’s a genius. I called him and apologized for talking about the movie, and right there sitting with him was his beautiful wife.
While further praising the ace filmmaker, the Man of Fire star added: "He’s still Ryan, humble and full of ideas. Whatever he writes, I’ll read."
Back in November, Denzel, 69, publicized that he would like to a certain film before biding goodbye to his career. The movies included Othello and King Lear.
The actor further teased the third and fourth installment of his action-packed Equalizer franchise.
