Ranbir Kapoor opens up about his groundbreaking role in Nitesh Tiwari’s 'Ramayana'
Ranbir Kapoor is offering an inside glimpse into his upcoming film Ramayana as he discussed his role in the mythological epic.
During the Red Sea Film Festival, the Animal actor expressed his joy over playing his dream role of Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s new film.
The actor, who is set to star alongside his wife Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War, discussed his shooting schedule.
After successfully wrapping up the first part, he's now looking forward to starting work on the second.
He said during the event, "I’m so humbled to be essaying Lord Rama’s role. It’s a dream for the team, especially for me, and it’s a film which has everything.”
And according to him, he is “very excited” about the film, highlighting its culture and the message it carries regarding good over evil, family, as well as husband-wife dynamics.
The film is said to feature Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Sai Pallavi in the role of Sita, Yash as Raavana, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman.
On professional front, Ramayana is slated to release on November 2026 all across India.
