Britney Spears sparks concerns among friends after 43rd birthday
Britney Spears’ recent online behaviour raises concerns about music career
Britney Spears, who recently celebrated her 43rd birthday, announced that she was turning 42 in a statement on Instagram.
The pop icon said, “It’s my birthday, I’m not turning 42; I’m turning 5 this year, and I have to go to kindergarten tomorrow.”
The Toxic songstress might have mistakenly named another year but adding up with another incident, friends have gotten concerned for her.
Following her birthday bash with friends in Cabo, she took to social media and complained, “It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing, like, a white Jason mask, and it doesn’t even look like me.”
The mom of two continued, “They’ve always been incredibly cruel to me, the paparazzi and pictures and the way they’ve illustrated me to be in some of it. I know I’m not perfect at all, by any means, but some of it is extremely mean and cruel, and that’s why I’ve moved to Mexico.”
In the light of recent events, a close friend of Spears told Page Six,“ Britney didn’t actually move to Mexico … she was just having fun and being silly.”
People close to her have become used to taking what Spears says with a grain of salt, as Mark Vincent Kaplan, lawyer for Spears’ second husband Kevin Federline, said, "I think we’ve all learned that, when it comes to Britney’s decisions, it’s very fluid for her.”
This comes after the Womanizer hitmaker shared another clip of her dancing on Thursday, and maintained that she has indeed moved to Mexico. She wrote, “I’m so blessed !!! I’m house hunting and this place is insanely beautiful !!! Thank you Jesus for a place so far away from America !!!”
