Bhumi Pednekar recounts 'fun' incidents from Ranveer Singh's audition
Bhumi Pednekar reflects on Ranveer Singh's 'phenomenal' audition for 'Band Baaja Baraat'
Bhumi Pednekar is reflecting on Ranveer Singh’s ‘phenomenal’ audition for Band Baaja Baraat as she recounted various ‘fun’ incidents from the set.
During an exclusive sit-down on a recent chat show, Kareena Kapoor Khan prompted the 35-year-old to share various instances from her time as a casting director.
Reminiscing about her memories from the Gully Boy actor’s audition for the Romance/Comedy back in 2009, the Indian actress said, "He is so phenomenal and such a wonderful person. When he entered our casting office in Juhu, the energy that we see now on the red carpet or while interacting with people—that is the energy he had at that time."
The Bhakshak actress explained that Ranveer had a very commanding aura. While rehearsing lines with him, she experienced something new: for the first time, she forgot her own dialogues. That's when she realized just how brilliant he was as an actor.
In addition, the actress further went on to explain how Ranveer’s passion and energy left a lasting impact on her as an actor.
On professional front, Bhumi is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which also stars Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh.
