Why Shah Rukh Khan stepped back from acting?
When Shah Rukh Khan decided to take hiatus from acting to reflect on his film choices
Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood's superstar who has done numerous hit movies and known as 'King of Romance,' earlier made a shocking decision as he took a painful step back from acting.
This sudden change of his mind happened when his 2018 film Zero sadly failed to impress the audiences and cinemas.
Despite its very high expectations and grand production, the comedy drama did not strike the right chord with the viewers as it got crashed down badly which disappointed the 59-year-old star.
Shah Rukh, who started his acting career back in late 1980s, has ruled the hearts for millions of fans and audience with his iconic like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Veer Zaara and Om Shanti Om.
However, As Zero did not get the attention as the Jawan actor hoped for, he thought to take some break from acting as he got really hurt.
He made the decision to pause and rethink to bring such stories again to the big screen after the loss of his science fiction.
After that damage, king khan decided to focus on his children and wife as he produced films through his company, Red Chillies Entertainment.
Back in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan made an unexpected come back with his most hit movie Pathaan, and ever since then, he has been doing major successful films.
