Ananya Panday blames father Chunky for bad film choices

Ananya Panday recently held Chunky Panday responsible for her poor movie choices.  

According to The Indian Express, the 26-year-old Indian actress made a guest appearance alongside her father on the latest episode of the We Are Yuvaa podcast, discussing their flopped film Liger. 

During the show, Ananya humorously blamed Chunky for forcing her to sign the disastrous action-sport film, which ultimately became a massive failure at the box office. 

She even jokingly stated that she would never work with him again. 

The father-of-two clarified his stance and said they often had heated discussions about the types of films she should pursue, saying, "Maximum arguments on what kind of films [she] should do because I am from the 80s and 90s, where we made all of those huge big commercial movies."

Furthermore, the 62-year-old actor revealed that these debates led to disagreements at home.

Chunky also candidly disclosed that Ananya had recently admitted to him how her film Gehraiyaan helped her to decide the movies she wanted to do.

"I will fight with you right now," the Housefull actor jokingly said to his daughter.

For the unversed, Ananya and Chunky last appeared together in the movie Liger.
