Ranveer Singh’s 'Don 3' back on track as production house clears the air

Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh's upcoming project hasn’t been postponed as the production house denied the speculations that the movie is on the verge of getting shelved.

Excel Entertainment has dispelled the current rumors regarding a delay in the production, affirming that the filming of Don 3 is proceeding as planned.

A spokesperson to the film company, revealed: “The makers and Ranveer Singh are on the same page that the timelines of Don 3 remain unchanged. Any such news of postponement is not true.”

The anticipation surrounding the delay in the movie's creation sparked numerous assumptions, suggesting that it might not be exhibiting any time soon.

“With the timelines firmly in place, the mandates for Don 3 remain ambitious, delivering a cinematic spectacle that lives up to the franchise’s legacy while setting new benchmarks.”

Back in 2023, film director Farhan Akhtar disclosed that Ranveer Singh will be playing the new Don in the third sequel of the hit franchise.

Farhan shared a teaser, showcasing the actor sitting with his back to the camera. He, then sparks a cigarette, proclaims himself as Don, and then turns to face the lens. 

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan played the character of Don in the previous sequels.
