Anushka Sharma's 'hero' Virat Kohli captures hearts with 'romantic' gesture

Anushka Sharma's husband Virat Kohli stunned fans with his heartwarming gesture after scoring a century during the first Test match in Perth.

The 36-year-old cricketer, who displayed valor during his outstanding innings, couldn't help but swoon over his beloved wife, who was there to witness his achievement in the stands.

Anushka was spotted cheering on for her husband at the Optus Stadium in Perth on the third day of the India vs. Australia test.

As soon as Kohli hit his 30th Test hundred and 80th overall, he sent a series of flying kisses to his wife of eight years.

In the video, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress, who sported a white shirt alongside a pair of white studs, was moved by Kohli's spectacular performance on the field as she gave a standing applause for her husband.

During the presentation ceremony, the famous cricketer heaped on praises for his wife and credited her for being with him always.

He said, "Anushka has been right by my side through thick and thin. She knows everything that goes on behind the scenes when I am in the room, what goes on in the head or when you don’t play as well. You make a few mistakes when you’re getting yourself in."

For the unversed, the couple got married in a private ceremony on December 11, 2017, at Borgo Finocchieto, a medieval villa in Tuscany, Italy.
