Malaika Arora is finally reflecting on her father Anil Mehta’s death, just months after he tragically passed away.
During an exclusive encounter with the media, the Indian actress and dancer opened up about processing her family’s loss in the recent months.
The 51-year-old said in a recent statement, “We all need to keep moving forward…That’s what my father would have wanted for me. I’m grateful for the time I took to process the loss. It wasn’t easy, but it’s important to give ourselves space to heal.”
Malaika also shared that her work routine helps her stay focused, improving her mental health as she returns home stronger to her mother and family.
On professional front, the actress, who was previously in a relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor, expressed excitement on exploring her creative side in upcoming brand collaborations.
In addition, she dropped a hint about an upcoming project, inspired by her late father's legacy.
This comes on the heels of Anil Mehta’s death at his Mumbai residence on September 11, 2024 after he tragically plunged to death from the sixth floor of his building in Bandra.
