'Singham Again': Director Rohit Shetty explains why they ditched theme song

Rohit Shetty, the director of Singham Again, recently opened up about the much-hyped movie that was released on November 1.

During a recent interview Mashable India, the 50-year-old director shared a saddening reason why they were not able to add the iconic theme music in the film. 

"T-series did a copyright strike, and we had to remove it from all places; what can we do?" he said. 

He explained further, "It's okay; contractually, it happens, and the contracts are like that, so it's fine."

The filmmaker, when asked if he tried to hold on to the rights, replied saying they did not have time for that, as they just went ahead with the sequel and were focused on other important parts.

However, Arjun Kapoor, Bollywood's handsome hunk, has been making headlines ever since the crime thriller Sigham Again was released, leaving his fans loving the astonishing character he played as a villain.

The 39-year-old star is so 'grateful' for all the love that he received from many celebs of Bollywood after his rip-roaring comeback.

During an interview, the actor shared, “To get a message from Adi sir (Aditya Chopra) is always nice and that means a lot. He is very correct that way; if he likes something, he will always tell me.”
