Varun Dhawan is making a bold confession about his daughter Lara, whom he shares with his beloved wife Natasha Dalal.
The Bawaal actor, who welcomed his first child in 2024, opened up about his protective instincts towards his only daughter.
During an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, the actor talked about how fatherhood completely changed him as a person.
He told the publication, “I am sure you feel it towards sons also, but towards the daughter, especially that if anyone caused even so much (little) harm to her, I’d kill them, literally.”
VD revealed a newfound understanding of his father's protectiveness, stemming from his experience as a father; he now grasped why his father was always so concerned about him coming home on time.
Speaking of his father David Dhawan, the Baby John star further went on to add, “I would never get it. I’d be like, ‘What is his issue? What does he want? I am not a child; why does he want to keep me near him?’”
The actor, set to star in upcoming projects Baby John and Citadel: Honey Bunny, welcomed his daughter on June 3, 2024.
