One of Bollywood’s popular names, Nora Fatehi has unveiled that it was not easy for her reaching this level of fame as there was a lot of struggle, hard work and mental pressure involved behind it.
Fatehi, while talking about her difficult journey, shared that she faced a lot of rejections and constant comparisons, which took a toll on her mental health.
In conversation with Rajeev Masand at IFFM Melbourne, the Canadian dancer said: “I did seek therapy because when you get a lot of rejection, which I got a lot, a lot of ‘you are not good enough’, a lot of ‘you want to be the next Katrina Kaif?’ and I was like this is terrible.”
She further admitted trusting the wrong people in the entertainment industry as she did not had any other help.
According to the Street Dancer 3D actress, many promised to help her in connecting with big production companies but they all had hidden motives behind it, which often led to scary situations.
The Dilbar girl further stated: Now, I would be like ‘Why am I coming with you? What do you want from me? Clearly, nobody does anything for free but at that time, I was like ‘God sent this person to me’ and I followed a lot of idiots."
Nora Fatehi moved to India at the age of 22 to make her career entertainment world. She made her debut in 2014 with Roar: Tiger Of The Sunderbans. From taking part as a contestant in dance reality shows to becoming a judge in one, the actress has truly proved herself to be talented.
