Chris Hemsworth reveals real reason behind 'rare' medical condition
Chris Hemsworth opens up about his underlying health condition
Chris Hemsworth is getting candid about his health after he revealed that his career could have killed him earlier this year.
During an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, the actor, who rose to fame after his role on Home and Away, expressed his frustration over his health condition.
He told the publication, “It really kind of p***ed me off because it felt like I had been vulnerable with something personal and shared this.”
This comes after he discovered that the actor is 'between eight and 10 times' likelier to develop Alzheimer's than the general public.
Hemsworth, who was filming the Limitless series in 2022, took a break from Hollywood, confirming it was taking a toll on his health.
Speaking to Body + Soul magazine in the US, Chris identified the problems at hand. He said, “The imagined scenario is always worse than the reality.”
After recovering from a back injury on the set of Thor: Love and Thunder, Chris returned back at the age of 41.
He expressed excitement about getting back on set in Los Angeles, noting, “When you’re building or creating all sorts of disastrous outcomes for things, it’s very hard to make clear decisions with any sort of precision.
“It’s in the quieter moments of reflection and stillness that I can make decisions based upon real purpose and drive.”
For the unversed, the actor celebrated his 41st birthday in August before making a comeback to the industry.
