Prince George receives expert coaching as he excels in new sporting pursuit
All three of Prince William and Kate Middleton's children have clearly inherited their parents' love for sports and staying active.
Prince George in particular, is known for his passion for football, often spotted with his father at major matches like the Euros final earlier this year.
The royal father-and-son duo have also strengthened their bond through rugby and cricket.
But now, Prince George has taken on an exciting new challenge—triathlon!
According to The Mirror, the young royal's latest sporting obsession was revealed by none other than his proud father, Prince William, during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle.
While presenting triathlete Non Stanford with an MBE for her contributions to the sport, William shared that George has recently begun participating in triathlons at school, diving into this demanding and thrilling new hobby with enthusiasm.
Non Stanford, the 2013 women’s triathlon champion, shared an exciting detail about her conversation with the Prince of Wales during the Windsor Castle investiture ceremony.
Stanford revealed, "He was telling me how George has been getting into triathlons at school."
In a fun twist, Prince George has even been picking up pro tips.
According to her, a gentleman who now works with William and has competed in triathlons himself, has been offering George some practical advice—like using talcum powder in his shoes to make transitions smoother.
"George has been sharing the talc trick with his classmates, and they’re all buzzing with excitement over these new tips," Stanford said.
Prince William also took the opportunity to discuss the future of game and the emerging talent in the sport during their chat, making for a lively and insightful exchange.
