Billie Eilish shares a major health update, revealing that she has been “in pain” for many years.
During an exclusive interview with the Vogue magazine, the Ocean Eyes hitmaker offered an insight into her physical health.
The two-time Academy Award winner shared that she has been dealing with a lot of pain as a result of joint issues, stemming from physical injuries she developed while performing and from hypermobility.
She told the publication, "I've basically been in pain since I was nine. Growing up, I'd always hear people be like, 'Just wait until you're older! You're going to have so much pain!' And I remember being so furious."
In addition, the songstress said the years-long tour took a toll on her mental health as she reflected on “dark times, kind of living like it was temporary.”
The 22-year-old went on to say, "I didn't realise that I could make touring enjoyable. I just was very lonely for many years, and I'm not interested in that anymore. I want to enjoy the show as well as my days.”
Billie also admitted to signing up for singing lessons with a vocal coach later in the interview.
She added, "I never felt like a singer. I've never had that as my identity.”
On professional front, the singer is currently on tour to promote her third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft.
