Karan Johar makes a surprising revelation about being a single parent to his twins.
The Indian filmmaker, who has established himself as one of the finest in Indian cinema, offered an insight into raising his children Yash and Roohi as a single parent.
During an exclusive interview with Jai Madaan- Lady of Fortune Show, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai producer revealed that people questioned his decision.

He then shared his stance on worrying about embracing parenthood, “I said, ‘Why should I be bothered about what people say when I have my mother’s blessings?’ My mother was so supportive. She said immediately, ‘You want to have a child of your own without a partner; please go ahead. But make sure, because it’s a very big responsibility’."
In addition, KJo also opened up about his unapologetic approach to pursuing happiness, embracing everything that brings him joy.
For the unversed, Karan welcomed his twins Yash and Roohi back in February 7, 2017 via surrogacy.
