Lady Louise Windsor’s recent decision to remove her personal information from the internet is seen as "intentional," according to a PR expert.

The 20-year-old, who was raised out of the public eye by Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, continues to lead a private life while studying at the University of St Andrews.

Unlike her cousin Princess Eugenie, Louise maintains no social media presence. Her LinkedIn profile, previously listed under the name Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, has also been taken down.

PR expert Luana Ribeira, founder of Dauntless PR, told GB News that Louise’s choice to stay private online is deliberate.

She said: "As a member of the Royal Family, Lady Louise knows that her every move on social media will be scrutinised and commented on.

"A simple sharing of a post or meme would have the potential to cause huge speculation on her personal views.

"A public account would invite exactly the kind of attention she seems to choose to avoid."

Ribeira suggested that Louise could have a private social media account, similar to her cousin Zara Tindall, whose Instagram handle is @zp176.

She added: "I am sure as a 20-year-old university student, she has a private presence on social media.

"But the decision not to have a public-facing account will absolutely be intentional."

Louise's former LinkedIn profile was recently discovered by internet sleuths, after which it was discovered she was considering a career in the military.

She noted on her LinkedIn page that she was interested in pursuing a career in "the military, diplomacy or law".

Louise is a member of St Andrews University Officers' Training Corps, which provides military training for students.

Her LinkedIn profile has since been wiped from the internet after it was discovered by the media.
