Bobby Deol opens up about his relationship with his legendary father, Dharmendra.
The 55-year-old actor, who recently starred in Animal and received applause for his work from all over the world, opened up to Humans of Body about his father’s busy schedule.
He said of his father Dharmendra, who came from a small town, “My dad wasn’t strict, but he was never a friend while growing up. He was very busy, he was always at work.”
“I would get to see him only for a few hours, and that would also be late at night or early in the morning.”
The actor revealed that he would only get to spend a few hours with his father because he had a packed schedule with multiple projects.
Bobby told the outlet, “When you’re growing up, you get confused between respect and being scared.”
In addition, he also opened up about the distance in parent-child relationships at the time, drawing from his own childhood experiences.
On professional front, he actor was last seen portraying Abrar Haque in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 2023 directorial, starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Anil Kapoor among others.
