Jennifer Aniston's forgotten romance with 'Friends' co-star revealed
Fans shocked to learn about Jennifer Aniston's past relationship
Jennifer Aniston's past relationship with her Friends co-star Tate Donovan has resurfaced, surprising some fans who were unaware of the romance.
The two dated for two years after meeting in 1995 and later worked together on Friends, where Tate guest-starred as Joshua Burgin, a love interest for Jennifer's character Rachel Green.
Tate has spoken about the experience, saying: "The only bummer was Jennifer and I were breaking up at the time. And so that was tricky to sort of act, and act like we are just meeting each other, and falling in love, or whatever, interested in each other, when we're sort of breaking up."
He added: "It was just tough... In fact, we had dated for two years before then, and it was over by the time we were on Friends together."
Fans have taken to Reddit to share their surprise at learning about the relationship, with one saying: "I apologize if this was already common knowledge - I genuinely had no idea and thought it was pretty interesting."
Others have commented on the "awkward chemistry" between the two on the show, with one fan writing: "That makes Jenny a very good actress. In the show, she really sold Rachel's affection for Joshua."
