Brittany Mahomes reigns supreme among chiefs WAGs amid tensions
Taylor Swift watches NFL Season opener from separate suite
Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is facing no opposition from fellow NFL WAGs despite recent backlash over her public support for former President Donald Trump.
Insiders told DailyMail.com that Brittany remains "untouchable" within the Chiefs circle, as no one is willing to risk upsetting her or her husband, who continues to dominate the NFL.
Last month, Brittany stirred controversy by liking several pro-Trump posts on Instagram, prompting a response from the former president, who thanked her for her support.
Despite the uproar, Brittany’s football peers are steering clear of the subject, unwilling to "ruffle any feathers" given Patrick's superstar status.
"Patrick is still the darling of the NFL, and as long as he keeps winning, no one will question his family—whether it’s Brittany, his brother, or his dad," an insider revealed.
During the Chiefs' season opener victory against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night, Taylor who has been seen mingling with NFL circles, notably watched the game from a separate suite, underscoring the behind-the-scenes divide.
While some may whisper about Brittany's political stance, the insider insists that it's a subject strictly kept "behind closed doors" and never mentioned to her directly.
"Nobody will bring it up during a hangout or at a game," they explained, ensuring it remains off-limits.
Brittany's relationship with pop superstar has also come under scrutiny, with fans questioning whether their bond could be strained by Brittany’s political views.
