Matthew McConaughey's son follows in father’s footsteps, all set to make acting debut
Matthew McConaughey’s son will be seen alongside Chris Pratt as a supporting role in coming-of-age movie
Matthew McConaughey's son will appear in the upcoming movie, Way of the Warrior Kid, alongside Chris Pratt.
Deadline confirmed that 16-year-old Levi will make his acting debut in the new movie and the supporting role is of Chris.
The movie details are still under the wraps, while the movie is based on the book by Jocko Willin.
The upcoming movie is directed by McG (Joseph McGinty Nichol) and written by Will Staples.
Last month, the Interstellar actor was seen visiting Levi on the movie’s set, who was donning a red flannel, navy T-shirt, and blue jeans.
Earlier in April 2024, speaking to PEOPLE, Matthew revealed that becoming a parent “made me a better actor”.
"Having children, I know has made me a better artist and has made me a better actor, because kids see things for the first time all the time. Their questions are innocent,” he remarked.
The Gentleman actor explained, “I become a better storyteller because I have kids, meaning, I come home from work on something like True Detective, and my 4-year-old kid goes, 'What'd you do today?'”
“I cannot tell them what the show's really about, it's not age-appropriate. So, I have to go into a parable for them."
Matthew told the outlet, “So, I had to become a better storyteller to tell my kids about a good guy, a bad guy and a monster in this, to tell them the parable of the story I was in.”
