Sanjay Leela Bhansali is taking pride in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar as the short series bagged two nominations at the Busan Film Festival.
Bhansali, who is widely known for his work in authentic Bollywood films, including Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and Gangubai Kathiawadi, is more than honoured to have been the only Indian director to receive accolades this year.
Expressing his gratitude for dominating two major categories, the director enthused, “It’s an honor to be nominated for the Asia Contents Awards. I’m grateful to the jury and the audiences for this incredible recognition.”
According to sources, the Asia Contents Awards and Global OTT Awards 2024 are slated to premier on October 6, 2024, at the Busan Theatre of the Busan Cinema Center in South Korea.
Meanwhile, Bhansali Productions expressed their excitement on Instagram, sharing a post celebrating their nominations in various categories.
