Akshay Kumar is ‘considering’ a valuable piece of advice his wife Twinkle Khanna once shared with him.
The 50-year-old author and columnist, better known as Mrs Funnybone, recounted an instance from the couple’s holiday when their travel guide detailed about a certain species of birds called tik-tik, who are so devoted to their partners that they will even go to the extent of eating poisonous grass to end their own life if their partner dies.
After hearing about the rare species, Twinkle was quick to shoot a timeless response as she said, “if I die first, you better eat poisonous grass too. If I see your second wife walking around with my handbags, I promise I will come and haunt you both.”
However, the Sarfira actor fired back with a hilarious response, saying, “I want to eat that poisonous grass right now, at least then I won’t have to listen to all this nonsense.”
In addition, Twinkle shared a round-up of emotions saying that the couple engaged in a ‘complex choreography of cooperation, affection, and mutual tolerance’ until they finally reached their camp.
The power couple tied the knot back in 2001 and have two children together, son Aarav and daughter Nitara.
