Keanu Reeves is reportedly occupied with another highly-anticipated TV series after his 2023 sequel.
According to Deadline Hollywood, an upcoming series is in the pipeline titled John Wick: Under the High Table, following the events of John Wick: Chapter 4.
However, Reeves won’t star in the series this time as he prefers to work backstage as a producer.
In addition, franchise director Chad Stahelski, who will direct the first episode of the upcoming series, is reportedly “very hands-on” with the upcoming project.
Although the show-runners are adamant to keep other details under wraps, the cast for the show has yet to be announced.
The show will feature a roster of new faces, looking to “make a name for themselves while some of the franchise stalwart characters remain committed to the old-world order.”
The upcoming series will follow as the second TV set in the John Wick franchise after the success of Peacock’s limited prequel series The Continental: From the World of John Wick.
Under the High Table will perform individually, steering clear of the planned fifth John Wick film and the upcoming spin-off film Ballerina starring Ana de Armas.
