Ranbir Kapoor makes rare confession about Rishi Kapoor's 'rude' behaviour
Ranbir Kapoor claimed that he's 'not interested' in emulating his late father's 'rude' behaviour
Ranbir Kapoor took a moment to reflect on the failures of his star family members, especially his father Rishi Kapoor, while offering an explanation for his ‘humble’ attitude.
During an exclusive conversation on WTF is with Nikhil Kamath, the Animal actor revealed that he spent years studying the failure of the film stars in his family.
Claiming that the actor’s family comprises of "generations of successful actors and those who have failed," Ranbir cited an example of his late father Rishi Kapoor.
According to the 41-year-old, his father used to be rude to fans who approached him for autographs and photos.
Referring to the late Indian actor and film director, Ranbir said that he is “not interested” in doing so.
He continued to explain his stance as the actor recounted instances from the past, observing fans’ disappointment.
The star, who tied the knot with Alia Bhatt back in 2022, revealed that is when he learned his lesson that he “can’t say no to anybody.”
He said, "I would see the fan’s face and them looking at my father with so much of disdain and disappointment. If somebody wants a picture with me or an autograph, I’m more than happy to oblige.”
On professional front, Ranbir is currently occupied with a series of projects, including Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
