Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan opened up about his struggles before achieving stardom.
In a recent podcast interview with Raj Shamani, the 33-year-old actor reminisced about his challenging days and revealed that his parents were in debt before he achieved stardom.
The Shehzada star was questioned about the changes in his life before and after achieving stardom in Bollywood.
On which Kartik revealed that he has always had a complicated relationship with money, recalling that his family was in debt before he rose to success.
He shared, "Because my parents were in debt for their careers. It wasn’t like we were poor, but we weren’t rich."
"We were EMI people. In this sort of situation, every expense is calculated. For the longest time, we had more debt than income."
The Luka Chuppi actor further revealed that he once took out an education loan when he moved to Mumbai and recalled borrowing money from friends during his struggling days.
He said, "Loans were a common part of life, borrowing money from friends was a regular thing."
On the work front, Kartik is currently preparing for upcoming movies such as Chandu Champion, slated to hit theaters on June 14, 2024 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, releasing on Diwali 2024.
