Kartik Aaryan reflected on a challenging period when he felt prepared to sacrifice everything.
As per Pinkvilla, the 33-year-old actor talked about the mental and physical challenges he encountered while portraying India's first Paralympics gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar, in the film.
The Shehzada actor reminisced about the period when his mother was battling cancer while he was filming Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
He shared, "Her cancer phase was the lowest point in my life. That was happening during the shoot of the most important movie of my life."
The Pati Patni Aur Woh star further mentioned that during that time, he struggled to determine how he should approach work.
Kartik revealed that he maintained a mindset of perseverance and despite his mother undergoing chemotherapy every day, he continued to work alongside her treatment.
He divulged, "That was the worst phase of my life. But then if I didn’t have the never-give-up attitude then I would have given up. I was ready to leave it all."
On the work front, Kartik will next be seen in the film Chandu Champion, releasing on June 14, 2024.
