Jennifer Aniston’s Alex Levy’s dad’s role to be added on ‘The Morning Show’
‘The Morning Show’ is set to cast someone in the role of Jennifer Aniston’s character’s father
Jennifer Aniston’s Alex Levy is getting a dad for herself on The Morning Show season 4.
The news of getting someone cast in the role of Martin Levy in the upcoming season was announced on TVLine on Tuesday, June 11.
Martin is a man narrated as a “charming, sharp, deep-thinking man with a sense of humour” who’s age group is somewhere between 70s or early 80s. He will get screen time in about six episodes, the outlet reported.
Although it’s not confirmed if the role is available to be auditioned for, it is claimed that Kevin Kline was tapped to play Alex’s father. However, TVLine reported that Kline, 76, passed on the opportunity.
The casting and role news comes a day after it was confirmed that Julianna Margulies, who played journalist and Bradley Jackson’s (Reese Witherspoon) ex-girlfriend Laura Peterson, will not make a comeback for season 4, according to Us Weekly.
The Morning Show’s star-studded cast, which debuted on Apple TV+ in November 2019, has Aniston, 55, Witherspoon, 48, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Néstor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm in its ensemble.
