Kriti Sanon voices concerns over the rising entourage of celebrities

Kriti Sanon responded to the increasing costs of celebrities' entourages and the rise in production budgets.

During an interview with the Bombay Times, the 33-year-old Bollywood diva said that actors should receive fair compensation but also expressed the importance of maintaining fiscal responsibility.

The Heropanti starlet shared, “There are certain areas where a lot of unnecessary expenditure happens. In the end, it is the content that wins."

She also emphasized that regardless of the amount paid to the actor, the primary focus should always be on the content, saying, "if you’re not focusing on the main thing, which is the content, I don’t think the rest matters.”

"It should make sense at the end of the day... But yes, we should be mindful of costs. We need to be mindful of everything on set," she added.

In terms of her professional endeavor, Kriti was last seen alongside Shahid Kapoor in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

She is presently preparing for her debut production, Do Patti in which she will co-star with Kajol. 

The film is set to premiere on Netflix later this year.
