Joe Alwyn’s upcoming movie with Emma Stone leaves fans curious
Emma Stone and Joe Alwyn will be next seen in a Yorgos Lanthimos’ movie
Emma Stone and Joe Alwyn reunited in the trailer for their upcoming film, Kinds of Kindness.
The first official trailer for director Yorgos Lanthimos’ movie dropped on Wednesday, which also stars Jesse Plemons, William Dafoe, Hunter Schafer and Margaret Qualley.
Dubbed as a “contemporary film” by the director, the plot of the film remains ambiguous as the trailer gives very little to the fans.
The description of the movie also keeps key details of the plot under wraps. “Three stories revolve around a man who tries to take control of his own life, a policeman whose wife seems like a different person, and a woman who searches for someone with a special ability.”
“The trailers being so vague so far makes me think there's probably a sinister subplot in this film that they haven't shown in trailers,” on fan speculated.
“The trailer is extraordinary. It doesn't spoil the movie but keeps your attention throughout,” another user on YouTube praised. “The movie looks spectacular, I hope the Academy gives his first award to Willem Dafoe.”
“Three trailers in and I still have no idea what's going on. Fantastic,” added one more social media user.
Kinds of Kindness will be released in theatres on June 21, 2024.
