Selena Gomez, who took a hiatus from touring and music altogether after she was diagnosed with Lupus in 2016, shared what the future hold for her music fans.
The Only Murders in the Building actress, 31, told TIME in its latest cover story that she is not completely ruling out the possibility of going on tours again.
“Nothing makes me happier than 90 minutes of being with my fans and just celebrating together,” Gomez told the outlet, adding she feels “50-50” on the matter.
“It is very emotionally draining for me. And then you realise you’re just surrounded by a bunch of people that you’re paying.”
The Same Old Love singer went on tour following the release of her album, Revival, in 2016. However, the musician-actress was struggling with anxiety and depression as a side effect from lupus, due to which she abruptly pulled out of the tour.
While Gomez has put out singles and collaborations in the past years, her last album came out in 2021, Revelación, which was followed by Rare in 2020, accompanying the launch of her beauty brand of the same name.
Gomez has also hinted of a album drop this year, however, she has not disclosed a date for the much-anticipated album.
