Natalie Biden, US President Joe Biden's youngest granddaughter, became an eye candy at an extravagant event in Washington where she was seen romancing a young man named Rafael Hajjar, Daily Mail reported.
Natalie, 19, was pictured with Hajjar, who is rumoured to be her boyfriend, lovingly holding hands and embracing at the waist like soulmates.
United States President Joe Biden hosted a lavish White House dinner to welcome Kenyan President William Ruto and his wife Rachel to the country; however, the highlight of the event was the lovebirds, Natalie Biden and Rahael Hajjar.
The gathering was the largest state dinner to date, hosted by the Bidens. More than 500 people were invited; former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton also made an entry.
However, who caught everyone's attention was Biden’s 19-year-old granddaughter Natalie, who made an appearance with her London-based boyfriend Rafael Hajjar.
Natalie wore a cream-coloured full-length ball gown, while Rafael was seen rocking a black tuxedo with a bow.
The young couple posed for the photographers hand in hand on the red carpet.
Rafael is fluent in four languages, including English, Arabic, French, and Spanish. He is a keen sportsperson and was on the rugby and football teams in senior high school.
Among his earlier academic awards are gold awards in physics and math olympiads, with his current focus on cutting-edge topics like AI and machine learning.
In addition, he has also taken short courses in math and engineering from Kings College London.
Several other Biden family members in attendance included granddaughter Naomi and her husband Peter, as well as daughter Finnegan Biden.
