Akshay Kumar expresses gratitude for being married to Twinkle Khanna

Akshay Kumar couldn't stop expressing his admiration for his wife Twinkle Khanna, saying he feels fortunate to be married to her.

During an interview with cricketer Shikhar Dhawan on his talk show, the 56-year-old actor praised his wife Twinkle's intelligence and shared how he spends quality time with his family in London.

In praising his daughter Nitara, thru Welcome actor disclosed that she inherits her intelligence from her mother.

Akshay said, "I am an illiterate man, I have not studied too much. I do labor work whereas she is the one with the brain."

He also emphasized his good fortune in marrying the daughter of superstar Rajesh Khanna, yet he considers himself even luckier because Twinkle is not only a delightful wife but also an excellent mother. 

The Jolly LLB star also stated that having the right life partner makes life truly fulfilling.

Akshay said, “I go to work and she has taken such good care of my children. I am surprised about how my wife looks at life even today. She is 50 now and still goes to study. She has finished her master's and is now doing her PhD.”
