Giovanni Pernice spotted in Portugal amidst Strictly exit and BBC probe

Giovanni Pernice has been spotted for the first time since his departure from Strictly Come Dancing amidst allegations of serious workplace misconduct. 

The professional dancer, accompanied by his girlfriend Molly Brown has reportedly left the country following news that he won't be participating in the show's 20th-anniversary series later this year.

In the midst of the controversy, he was photographed shopping in Portugal alongside Brown before the pair indulged in an alfresco drink with friends. 

Despite the turmoil surrounding his professional life, Pernice appeared relaxed and carefree, donning a casual white T-shirt and dark shades as he enjoyed cocktails in the sunshine with his girlfriend.

A source close to the couple revealed to MailOnline, "Giovanni and his girlfriend were out and about shopping."

The professional dancer has reportedly left the hit show Strictly Come Dancing amidst allegations of serious workplace misconduct. 

The decision comes after several of his former dance partners criticized his approach during training, with Amanda Abbington, Laura Whitmore, and Ranvir Singh leading the charge. 

Abbington, who withdrew from the series last year, is said to have initiated an emotional meeting with Whitmore and Singh to discuss their experiences with him.

Sources indicate that Pernice's departure from the show was prompted by mounting scrutiny and uncertainty surrounding his future.
