Aamir Khan-led Sitaare Zameen Par and Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 Delhi shoots have reportedly been cut short as city gets expensive.

According to the Hindustan Times, a source revealed that the Delhi schedule of Aamir Khan-led Sitaare Zameen Par, initially planned for a month, has been reduced and the shoot will now only take place for 8-10 days in July.

Regarding the Ajay Devgn-starrer Raid 2, a member of the production team informed the publication that they filmed the pivotal scenes in the National Capital for four days, encompassing locations such as India Gate.

Subsequently, they spent 47 days in Lucknow, replicating the ambiance of Delhi within the city.

"At least 20-25 films in today’s time are being shot in Lucknow because of the subsidies and quick permissions,” the insider said.

The highly anticipated film of Aamir Khan, titled Sitaare Zameen Par, is directed by RS Prasanna.

The film marks Aamir's return to the big screen after two years since Laal Singh Chaddha.

Alongside the 59-year-old actor, the star-studded cast of the film includes, Genelia Deshmukh, Darsheel Safary. It is set for release on Christmas 2024.

Raid 2, the sequel to Ajay Devgn's 2018 hit Raid, is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and features the 55-year-old actor in the lead role, alongside Vaani Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, and others.
