Aamir Khan attributes youthful appearance to 'good genes' at 59

Aamir Khan attributed his youthful appearance at 59 to good genes, revealing his lifestyle choices.

During his appearance on a recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, the 59-year-old actor talked about his simplistic approach to preserving his appearance.

The PK shared that he doesn't frequent the gym, use any creams and discovered the concept of shampoo after entering the acting profession.

Aamir also mentioned that he couldn't claim any credit since he doesn't engage in anything extraordinary.

The PK star said, “Abba jaan’s genes were good and I don’t deserve any credit in this. I don’t workout and I don’t even apply any cream on my face. In fact, I got to know what a shampoo is when I became an actor, otherwise I used to use soap for everything." 

"I don’t do a single thing to make myself look good. When a film comes, I work on my body for that film. I am very lazy. I don’t do anything.”

During the show, the Laal Singh Chaddha star also discussed his initial hesitance towards portraying the character of Rancho in the film 3 Idiots. 

He expressed apprehensions about being mocked for depicting an 18-year-old college student at the age of 44.
