Chunky Panday addresses Ananya Panday's rumored relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur

Chunky Panday, father of Ananya Panday, responded to rumors about her alleged relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur.

In a recent interview with Lehren Retro, the 61-year-old actor disclosed that he's an anxious father and confessed to feeling paranoid, clarifying that it wasn't about his daughters having boyfriends.

During the conversation, when the interviewer mentioned that they already have boyfriends, the Housefull 4 actor said, "I feel bad for them! I've spoiled them and pampered them so much; they'd expect the same from everyone else."

Chunky also shared his thoughts on Ananya dating Aditya and being open about it.

He explained, "I think it's fine. She's 25, earning more money than me right now, and free to do what she wants. How dare I tell my 25-year-old daughter not to have a boyfriend?"

The dating rumors between Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur started when they were seen together at Kriti Sanon's Diwali party in 2022. 

Subsequently, they were spotted at an Arctic Monkeys concert in Madrid, followed by romantic getaways across Europe.

In her professional endeavors, Ananya Panday's most recent appearance was in the Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, where she starred alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.

She will next be seen alongside Akshay Kumar in the film Shankara, releasing in 2024.
