Shah Rukh Khan set to play complex character in upcoming film 'King'
'King' will also star Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan
Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly playing the character of a 'Don' in his upcoming film, King.
As reported by Pinkvilla, the King Khan of Bollywood is all set to be seen in an action-packed thriller alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan, for the first time.
A source closer to the publication unveiled rare details about Shah Rukh's role, stating that it has some grey shades.
An insider shared, "Shah Rukh Khan is making films for the audience and is well aware about their urge to see him in shades of grey."
The source added, "King is his passion project and he has been meticulously working on all aspects of the project with Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh."
The report shared that the makers collectively "carved a very cool full of attitude and swag character with shades of grey for SRK in King."
An insider also revealed that the Pathaan star "is overseeing the creative process and training with Suhana on some new-age action sequences."
The forthcoming movie will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Gauri Khan and Siddharth Anand.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's comedy-drama movie, Dunki.
On the other hand, Suhana made her acting debut with Netflix movie, The Archies, which was released on December 7, 2023.
