Vidya Balan has expressed her desire to star in a romantic movie alongside Shah Rukh Khan, citing her limited role in Om Shanti Om as a motivating factor.
In an interview with India Today, while actively promoting her upcoming movie Do Aur Do Pyaar, the 45-year-old actress shared her aspiration to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan on a "nice love story."
During the conversation, when asked about the actors she would like to collaborate with for the first time, the actress specifically mentioned the Pathaan actor's name.
The Kahaani actress said, “I had a very small role in Om Shanti Om. But I would want to do a nice love story with him."
In a recent exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Vidya shared her desire to star in a comedy film, saying, "As an actor, I think I've not had the opportunity to do comedy, and I am yearning to do a comedy."
"I think now more than ever. I've enjoyed all the films I've done, but now I feel that I want to laugh and make people for the next few years," the actress explained.
The upcoming film, Do Aur Do Pyaar, starring Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D'Cruz, and Sendhil, will be released on April 19, 2024.
