Zendaya says ‘Euphoria’ season 3 to be ‘beyond’ actress’ control
‘Euphoria’ season 3 delay is causing a continuous stir amongst fans
Zendaya won’t be able to do anything good or share any good news about the third season of the show Euphoria.
The Challengers star has no news to share about season 3 of Euphoria after the delay in HBO series' third season. The actress and executive producer says he's "not in charge" of the show’s return, as per Variety.
"If it's right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course," she tells the outlet. "But it's beyond me."
Season 3 has been constantly facing delays while being made and released.
Production was first paused last year over actor Angus Cloud's death from an accidental overdose.
After that, labour strike dispute between the studios and the WGA and SAG-AFTRA sabotaged the project, which officially came to an end in December.
"HBO and [show creator] Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season. In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities," a representative for HBO told Entertainment Weekly in January.
As per Deadline, new episodes for Euphoria season 3 can be expected in 2025. The plot has been kept under wraps.
