Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, expressed his serious concerns about the firing incident, which took place outside their home in Bandra, Mumbai, on April 14.
In conversation with India Today, the veteran Indian writer said, "What's there to talk about? These illiterate people say you'll learn your lesson when we'll kill you."
Salim Khan's comments came after the Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Salman's house in Galaxy Apartments.
Speaking of CM visit, Salman's dad stated, "We've been given extra police protection. They've (Mumbai Police) assured protection for us and our friends. If they've arrested two people today, that means they're on it."
Previously, Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan released a statement on behalf of his entire family on Instagram, saying the incident is very "disturbing and unnerving."
He wrote, "We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support."
As per the latest reports, the two shooters involved in the incident have been arrested by police and further investigation has been lodged against the culprits.
