Parineeti Chopra expressed gratitude towards Imtiaz Ali for making her do a challenging role in Amar Singh Chamkila.
On April 16, the actress took to Instagram and shared a video clip from real and real-life performances of her character Amarjot from her newly released movie.
She wrote, "Fact about me: I love it when directors give me a challenge! This was my favourite Akhaada to recreate."
Parineeti added, "Thank you @imtiazaliofficial sir for pushing me to do my absolute best in every scene."
It is pertinent to mention here that the newly released film is a biopic based on the tragic murder of the renowned Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife Amarjot.
The movie has been receiving praise from the Bollywood fraternity and viewers all across the world.
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film stars Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti in lead roles and is presently streaming on Netflix.
